1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, and related services provided by SauriFreight (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking, requesting, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
We provide international freight forwarding services including but not limited to:
- Ocean freight
- Air freight
- Door-to-door delivery
- Customs clearance assistance
- Documentation and tracking services
We act as a freight forwarder, not as a common carrier. All transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the actual carriers.
3. Booking and Documentation
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and valid information for shipment, including but not limited to:
- Description of goods
- Weight, volume, and quantity
- Shipper and consignee details
- Commercial invoice, packing list, and any required licenses or certificates
Incorrect information may cause delays, extra charges, or customs issues, for which you will be responsible.
4. Payment
All fees, including freight, handling, documentation, and additional charges, must be paid in full as agreed before shipment or delivery unless otherwise stated in writing. Failure to pay may result in cancellation, storage fees, or refusal of delivery.
5. Prohibited Items
You warrant that the goods do not include prohibited, dangerous, illegal, or restricted items. We reserve the right to refuse or return any shipment that violates laws or carrier regulations.
6. Liability and Delay
While we exercise reasonable care, we are not liable for:
- Delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, port congestion, or government actions
- Loss or damage unless caused by our gross negligence
- Consequential damages such as loss of profit, business interruption, or penalties
Our liability is limited to the actual value of the goods or the amount declared, whichever is lower.
7. Changes and Cancellation
We reserve the right to modify routes, carriers, or schedules when necessary. Cancellation may be subject to fees if the shipment has already been processed.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws without regard to conflict of law rules.
